Whitefish Lake Golf Club was established in June of 1927. The old course stayed a 9-hole layout until a masterplan for renovation was undertaken by Architect Gerald Matthews in the 1980’s. The course was lengthened to 12 holes in 1989 and the practice facilities were added. In 1996 the course was finished by Jerry Matthews III.
All the holes continue to carry a name continuing a tradition that began long before the new course design was completed. Arrive early to warm up on our driving range or practice green or simply come out to practice. Whitefish Lake Golf Club features a classic mixture of green complexes, beautiful bunkering, tree lined fairways, and challenging tee shots but yet provides playability for all skill levels. Experience the splendor and excitement of golfing “Northern Michigan’s Beauty” at Whitefish Lake Golf Club-just 25 minutes north of Grand Rapids.
